Snow Bunny

The other day Col got Adeline's old snowsuit out of the closet. It's 6-12 months, so Penelope's already outgrown it. Nevertheless, Addie insisted it would still fit and tried it on.

Back in the 90's I definitely saw some older ladies at Snowbird rockin' this look.

Toothpaste and Lotion

Today a guy with 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens came to do a team building day with my students. The last activity involved toothpaste, as you can see.

It reminded me of a few days ago when Penelope was able to reach a bottle of lotion on our dresser from her crib, as well as a jar of hair ties and barrettes. In both cases, it was quite a mess.

Every morning after Adeline wakes up, she strips down out of her jammies, puts on a dress, a flower in her hair and colors at the table while I make her breakfast. We then chat for a few minutes while Penelope is still sleeping. Here is an excerpt from this morning's conversation.

Me: Hey Addie!

Adeline: What?

Me: I love you.

Addie: Hey Daddy!

Me: What?

Addie: I miss my Grandma.

The best Christmas gift ever...

Jammies

This is what Adeline insisted on wearing to bed tonight. I think those
may be Grandma's Christmas socks.
